A beautiful city encircled by pine trees, Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya is just 100 km from Guwahati which can be accessed by road along NH 40, a journey of about 2 hours 30 minutes through lush green hills and the magnificent Umiam lake in between.. It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district. Shillong has steadily grown in size since it was made the civil station of the Khasi and Jaintia Hills in 1864 by the British. Weather conditions in Shillong are typically pleasant, pollution-free. In the summer the temperature varies from 23 °C (73 °F). In the winter the temperature varies from 4 °C (39 °F). Shillong is well connected by roads with Guwahati by National Highways. The Shillong Bypass is a two lane road which stretches across 48 kilometers connecting Umiam (NH-40) to Jorabad (NH-44).
Shillong Tour Plan
- Day 1- Guwahati to Shillong
Pickup from Guwahati Airport or Railway Station & drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umiam Lake & Barapani View Point. After reach Shillong visit Wards Lake & Cathedral Church. After sightseeing drop at Hotel. Over night at Shillong.
- Day 2- Shillong – Cherapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast drive to Cherapunjee and visit Shillong Peak, Elephant falls, Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge, Mawkdok Dympep Valley, Ram Krishna Mission, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sister Water Falls. After sightseeing back to Shillong. Over night at Shillong.
- Day 3- Shillong Local & transfer Guwahati
After breakfast checkout from hotel and visit Lady Hydari Park & Zoo, Shillong Golf Course, Don Bosco Museum. After sightseeing transfer Guwahati and go for Sunset River Cruise (if time permit). After sightseeing drop at Hotel. Over night at Guwahati.
- Day 4- Kamakhya Darshan & Drop Guwahati Railway Station or Airport
After breakfast check out from Hotel and visit Kamakhya Temple. After Kamakhya Temple Darshan drop at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for onward journey.

Advance Booking Fee
30 days or more before date of departure: 50% of total cost
29 – 20 days before date of departure: 70% of total cost
19 days or less before date of departure: 100% of total cost
Cancellation Policy
Prior to 30 days or more of arrival – 25% of tour cost
Between 29 -14 Days prior of arrival – 50% of tour cost
Between 13 -07 Days prior of arrival – 70% of tour cost
Between 06 Days/No show – 100% of tour cost
Important:
The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received less than 20 days before date of departure
If you Cancel your Holiday
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy.
All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It will be switched off in the hills & when vehicle not run
From time to time, the prices for accommodation and transportation fluctuates. In case we need to provide a universal price for a particular package, we will have to quote a sky-high price to cover for the possible fluctuations. Since we dont want you to end up paying much more thne you should, we provide a customized price for every tour based on your travel dates.
